Food Pantry

St. Vincent Mission's Food Pantry gives emergency food service to families in Floyd and Magoffin Counties. Approximately 39,251 pounds of food, 47,995 meals worth, was distributed in 2011. Commodities as well as donated and purchased foods were given to between 160 and 217 individuals per month. $4500 dollars worth of personal care and cleaning products were also distributed, this includes a sizable donation from The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

Our Grow Appalachia Project is a gardening program to help individuals and families to grow their own food and possibly produce enough to share and or sell.
